Originally from Northern Michigan, Sean Curtis Patrick has spent his life documenting the natural world and creating art inspired by it.
Sean has been shooting photography for over thirty years and has been making music for twenty. He has records out on Beacon Sound, Past Inside the Present, Cloudchamber, and Day Dot. He performs seldom, but records often in a home studio equipped with rare instruments from around the world. He is one of only several hundred people on earth to be able to call himself an 'Ondist', a player of the Ondes Martenot, an instrument he owns and cherishes.
Sean has made dozens of music videos, live projections, and album cover designs for amazing artists like Benoit Pioulard, Rafael Anton Irisarri, Alessandro Cortini, Bana Haffar, Hypoxia, Richard Devine, Noveller, and many others.
In 2021, Sean won an Emmy Award for his second documentary, “The New North Pole of the Winds”, recounting a climate science expedition to Greenland.
He lives with his fiancée, Elise, and their four cats in Bellingham, Washington.
